Sounds like fun.
Reminds me, I want to try some new irons. I can hit my friends' heavy steel X's as well as I can hit my light graphite A's. I can't get as much clubhead speed with them, but the ball travels just as far. So, I want to try some steel shafts that are in between. Gosh, I've actually been wanting to do this for at least a month or two, and haven't gotten around to it. I must be really busy to let such a shopping opportunity slip. Wish you could go with me, Aimee!

X as in extra stiff. Bart's irons are Mizuno MP-32, Dynamic Gold X, D3 swingweight. Of course, they are way too much club for me, but I can hit them pretty near as well as my own. Tried 'em one day when mine were feeling puny. Tendency to pull them. I think that's because they're so heavy I have to drag them around. The good thing is that the swing just sort of goes into place, I think that's what they call being able to feel the clubhead. I think I may need to move up to a shaft on the firm side of R. Lighter shaft, but heavier head, as you say, may give me better clubhead feel without weighting me down. Thanks for the ideas, Scott, and the shopping pressure.
