It is the only fairway wood with upside-down head providing a lower center of gravity. It has a grafalloy shaft with a stiff flex.
Before I went to the store there were a few clubs that I wanted to try. After hitting many balls there was no doubt in my mind that the Adams was the right club for me. It seems to produce a very small amount of ball spin, which is leaving a very high percentage of my shots in the middle of the fairway. It also hits great from many different lies.
I'm very impressed with the overall feel and control I get with this club. The price was right compared to the other woods that I tried. This club is great on the fairway or out of the rough. To top it all of the metallic blue finish on the clubhead gives it a very appealling appearance. I'm giving this club a score of 4.5 out of 5, meaning very good. People tend to rate clubs to highly to often. Realisticly, a 5 out of 5 is exaggeration.
