To reiterate. I had these custom made to my exact specifications. 1/2 inch over, 2 degree upright. The clubs are beautiful, shiny and soft carbon steel. I bought the apex steel shaft because of the light weight, it was a smart buy. The clubs are lighter, stronger, better and forgiving. Hogan FORGED IS BETTER!
I had these custom made to my exact specifications, 1/2 inch over, 2 degree upright. The clubs are beautiful, shiny and soft. I bought the apex steel shaft because of the light weight, it was a smart buy. At stepup, I know exactly where I will be aiming and hitting. I tried Mizuno Mx-20, but those do not have the same consistency, impact but they do have a bigger head (don't know why). The muscle back on these clubs give my ball a kick and flight. I have been hitting about 1 1/2 clubs longer over my old cast iron set, ie PW-150 yards, 5-iron 205 yds. I pick and choose target and have no problem hitting them. The feel is just right allowing me to alternate short and long distances w/ a club and having no problem hitting each targets. These clubs are very forgiving on missed hits. I hit each club well from PW-3 iron. FORGED IS BETTER! I will continue to grow with these clubs for the rest on my life.
I have no dislikes, I am glad I canceled my Mizuno MX-20 order to buy these Pros.
Between Mizuno and Hogan, go with the Hogans you will not be unhappy. Better clubs, better performance, better price and American Made.(Nike's designer use to work at Hogan.)
