Spider Daddy Long Legs

Excellent quality. Solid feel

TaylorMade's website says "Our Spider line of putters is renowned among tour pros and amateurs for remarkable forgiveness and stability. The newest model, Daddy Long Legs, is the most stable of them all, with an MOI exceeding 8500. "

Built out of 16 pieces made of 8 materials – stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, titanium, tungsten, polycarbonate, Surlyn and TPU, the result is an exceptionally twist-resistant putterhead that helps you roll the ball your desired distance on your desired line, even on mis-hits.

The Daddy Long Legs putters are also the first in TaylorMade’s Spider line to be designed with a counter balance — a heavier overall weight that further increases the MOI of a putter. They have a heavier head weight, 395 grams, and a longer-than-standard 15-inch grip that weighs 130 grams.

This putter seems to promote a straight back and through stroke. The back weighting of this putter makes getting the ball rolling almost effortless on those short putts and distance control very easy on the long lag putts.

The pure roll face really help keep the ball from skpping and hopping off the putter face.

Available in custom lengths and face lofts.

The heavy weight makes it very easy to keep your line and the insert feels great!

If there are any, it may be the limitation that this putter is only available in a heel shafted configuration. If you prefer a center shafted version, you should look at other putters. Or just give this one a try anyway. The clubhead size and shape take a little getting used to, especially if you're used to playing a blade style putter. But making more putts will help you get over that quickly.

The Ghost Spider Daddy Long Legs Putter is the most stable TaylorMade putter ever created, which makes it easy to square the face at impact, easy to get the ball started on line, and easy to control distance. Its 130-gram grip counterbalances head weight to help you swing the head smoothly and on path.

It Features:

Highest MOI head – over 8500 -- of any TaylorMade putter ever for tremendous twist-resistance and distance-control on off-center hits
Combination of 8500+ MOI and counterbalancing keeps head rotation “quiet” during the stroke
Counter-balanced DLL is 60% more stable throughout the stroke than a traditional putter
PureRoll Surlyn insert promotes soft-yet-solid feel and smooth roll straight off the face
White leading edge and single, simple black alignment line make aiming easy

Definitely a putter you should try the next time you're at the golf store.
