The construction and quality of the Fat Shaft is excellent. It almost looks too good to hit!
Pros:
I was somewhat apprehensive when advised to go with a 12 degree loft and light flex shaft. However, the results speak for themselves. I get the ball off the ground without sacrificing distance. I'm consistantly in the fairway, averaging around 240 yds. I've even had a few in the 260 - 270 range. My confidence is very high off the tee. All this considering I'm 58 years old and have been playing regularly for only the past three years.
Cons:
Nothing to dislike except knowing that I could have gotten this club for less through ebay.
Summary:
Anyone looking for consistancy, accuracy, and a club that can be stroked "easily" should test try a Fat Shaft.
