Pros: These are great feeling irons. The loft on them is stronger than my previous RAC OS irons. These irons feel like butter when you hit them in the sweet spot. Off center hits provide good feedback without the harsh vibration in the grip. This helps for good adjustment to your stance and ball position. The balance between the shaft and head are absolutely perfect for controlled shots with a great 'feel' for where the clubhead is! Wonderful!
Cons: The lie of these clubs was at least one degree off the manufacturer's specs right out of the box. They were checked at 1 to 2 degrees flat, which was causing some right hand drift on shots and making me overcompensate with a draw-type shot in order to hit them straight. A quick check at the local repair shop diagnosed and corrected this problem quickly. Off center shots are not as forgiving as some of the hype on the internet would suggest... but still good in comparison with other irons I've tried.
R7 Quality: As stated in the dislikes, the overall quality of these irons is top-notch. However, one should have the lie of the clubs checked out of the box because they can be seriously off the mark! The grip and the club finish are wonderful, but I would probably have gone with a satin finish instead of the high polished chrome just for durability.
