Titleist Review: 981 Irons

Purchase: I bought these irons this past spring at the willows pro shop in Saskatoon. I was looking for a step up from the grosly oversized callaways i was playing before, i thougt those looked nice for $600CDN (about $400 american), they were new when i bought them.

Pros: They are amazingly smooth and accuracte with a high drawing ball flight, ive lost my long irons low-right a few times, but as ive always said "Its not the arrow, its the indian" The mid/short irons are super accurate and stop on a dime with any medium/soft ball.

Cons: Nothing really.

981 Quality: Ive always fancied Titleist clubs and balls, they make the highest quality club ive ever played, if they could just find a way to make the rust on the Scottys stop.
