Wishon Review: 550C Irons

Purchase: Bought a used set of Wishon 550C irons at the local golf shop for $225 Canadian. I knew about Wishon Golf so I was not afraid to buy those irons. I wanted to play forged irons but I felt my game was not ready for blades. So these would be fine for me as I am used to playing CB irons. The irons have True Temper S200 Shafts and cord grips.

Pros: I really like the feel of the ball coming off a well struck shot. Another thing I like about these irons is the lack of a lot of offset. I play a windy course and this allows me to keep the ball down, with the low irons I can now keep it under the wind if I have to. These are really nice looking irons, thin top line, set up nice. Nice chrome finish.

Cons: Not much to dislike with the 550C's

550C Quality: Construction and quality are great.

Summary: Bottom line, I would have a set of these irons built if I need new ones down the road. One of the golfers at my home course builds clubs and he just built the same set I am using and he loves them.
