Purchase: The putter was purchased from the Golfsmith Superstore in Wayzata, MN as a gift. I test drove their entire putter selection on their practice green before coming to this putter as my anniversary gift. I believe the club rang up around $60 at the checkout.

Pros: I like the weight. It's heavy enough to take the jitters out of my stroke but not so heavy as to throw off my tempo. The steel that is used provides a very soft feel and makes fast, slippery greens a cake walk.

Cons: The alignment took a few rounds to get used to. It required a slight change in my golf stance to get a true feel for the direction of the club. Your head needs to be in a direct 90 degree alignment to the top crown of the head to fully appreciate the setup of club. The change was worth it though. My putting feels more consistant.

Classics Model IX Quality: Construction appears to be top notch. Good feel through the shaft and the grip is very comfortable.
