Mizuno Review: D. Mills Workshop #4 Putter

Manufacturer: Mizuno Golf

Model: D. Mills Workshop #4
Category: Putters

Additional Details:

Purchase: Purchased from Mammoth Golf, Columbia, MD last spring for $150.00. It was an 'impulse buy' and I had a $20.00 coupon. It was just too pretty to pass up - even though it's much more than I ever planned to spend on a putter. I'm guessing and hoping it will be my last putter!

Pros: Excellent balance and alignment aid foster a very smooth, accurate putting stroke. The Winn pistol grip is very comfortable in the hands, and contributes to the wonderful feel of the club. I would call the overall feel 'solid, but not heavy'.

Cons: The gooseneck tends to rust so you have to keep it oiled. The manufacturer notes this feature right on the club (when purchased new) so it wasn't a big shock, and it's not a lot of work - just something to remember occasionally.

D. Mills Workshop #4 Quality: Beuatifully designed and well manufactured machine!!

Review & Rating Summary:
Has plenty of power for sending long putts on there way forcefully and accurately, but still allows a gentle touch on short putts. Also, it's an excellent marriage of form and function, artistry and craftsmanship.

Mizuno D. Mills Workshop #4 Rating: 5

Mizuno MX-23 Graphite Reg - Irons - For anyone who is ready for the next step up from pure game improvement clubs, the MX-23s are definitely worth a look. I can't wait to play a few more rounds to get used to them.

Mizuno T.P. Mills #8 - Putters - Putter's no doubt are all about the feel and vary from individual to individual. I can attack the hole whether it's a short or long putt with this one. The feel and feedback are unequalled in my boo

Mizuno Blue Fire 310cc - Drivers - It's not a recognised name in golf but Mizuno are on to a winner with this club. Tried the Power Bilt Orange, Brosnan and the Adams Tight lies but I was far more consistent with this driver.
