Purchase: After a poor round I was looking at my score card and realized how many strokes I was giving away due to poor putting. I had always used the cheapest putter I could find, from sale racks or garage sales. I began to question the rational behind spending loads of $ on a driver that I might use 7 or 8 times a round, and be cheap on my putter that I use every hole. I went to Golf Discount since I knew they had a large putting green and a huge selection of putters. I started working my way around the practice green, hitting every putter. When I found one that felt good Id set it aside so I could come back to it. After an hour or so I had it down to 3- Never Compromise, Cameron Futura, and the Odyssey 2ball. After a shoot out between the three, I purchased the Odyssey. Price wasnt a factor, I didnt look at any price tags till I made a desicion and was ready to buy. $181 OTD

What I Like About The Odyssey 2Ball White Hot Mallet: The whole thing feels really good, there were plenty different sizes so I could pick one that really fit. The balance is supurb and the 2 ball alignment really works. The White Hot insert is soft and Ive been able to judge speed with no problem. There is also a DFX model which is the same putter with a darker finish and a harder insert. Im debating getting this one as well so I can go back and forth bettween the two depending and green speeds. The head seems kind of big but it isnt heavy, I met up with a guy who had a cloned version and it was much heavier. Im also putting from the fringe and even the fairway more often. My friends have also commented that Im putting with alot more authority than I used to.

What I Do Not Like About These Putters: I cant really think of any dislikes. Maybe the price, but I cant even say that. At $181, this club has taken more strokes off my game than any driver Ive ever purchased.

2Ball White Hot Mallet Quality: The build quality is nice, it should be at this price. It comes with a nice neoprene head cover to keep it from getting dinged in the bag.

Review & Rating Summary: Since putters are more of a touch club, its hard to say "go buy one". The best thing I can say is to find one that really matches your feel. For me it was the Odyssey White Hot 2Ball. It has become one of my favorite clubs, if Im on the green there is a good chance that Ill sink it. Ill give it a 5 rating from my point of veiw, Ive seen other reviews where the reveiwer didnt like it, but its what feels and works good for each individual that counts.
