Purchase: I bought this putter when Odyssey first started making putters, long before they were bought out by larger companies. It was purchased at Palos Golf in Palos Hills, IL. for $89.95.

What I Like About The Odyssey Dual Force Rossie 1: I tried a lot of putters before settling on this one. The main factor in my purchase was feel. This putter has incredible feel and touch. It is great for long lags for distance, and it is great on short putts for accuracy. It is deep from front to back, one of the early mallets that utilized weight toward the back for added forgiveness on off-center hits, and it puts an excellent roll on the ball.

What I Do Not Like About These Putters: There is nothing I do not like about this putter. I did change the grip to a very slightly thicker pistol style grip, but that is just a matter of subjective preference, as there was nothing wrong with the original grip.

Dual Force Rossie 1 Quality: Excellent quality, top to bottom.

Review & Rating Summary: This putter was from the first batch of putters that Odyssey made, back when they were a little Mom and Pop outfit struggling to keep up with the quantity of orders they had to fill when word got out about their putters and the feel of their face inserts. I have tried many, many putters, and I have liked several of them, including the Odyssey White Hot Two Ball which is so popular today, but I have never bothered to buy a different putter. I have had this putter for over a decade, and I've never found one that I actually like better. INCREDIBLE FEEL.
