Purchase: $119 at Roger Dunn in Los Angeles. I'd had my White Hot #2 for over 4 years, and I had always found it hard to hit long uphill putts with it. I heard about the new face inserts on the XG, and the first time I tried it, I was amazed how easy it was to get the right speed and distance on all the putts, especially the long uphills putts that you have hit solidly.

Pros: Love the new design of this mallet. Very high-tech looking, and has nice alignment aids. I find it easier to hit long uphill putts with this than my old Odyssey White Hot

Cons: I think that the head could be a fraction heavier. May be it feels that way because the grip is extremely sticky and tacky?

Review & Rating Summary: This is a real fun putter. I love the futuristic look which is very pleasing to my eyes. It may not be for everyone, but I love it. The putts are easy to line-up, and I am able to make solid, confident strokes with it - I was always a little wishy-washy with my last putter.
