Ping Review: Doc 15 PutterManufacturer: Ping Golf Pros: I always liked the idea of the Doc 17 but the monsterous size was off putting. When I came across the Doc 15 it was right up my alley. It is not only smaller but in my opinion more pleasing to the eye. The center bar is solid on the top and hollowed out through the bottom creating a more solid appearance and feel. Also, the headcover is a very attractive lime green and black, much better than the 17. It is very hard to send the ball off line with this putter and the ball has a very nice end over end roll to it. The Doc 15 also has great feel, not a lot of effort is required to get the ball going resulting in more accurate putting. This monster still gets a lot of looks and comments on the course but instills a lot of confindence on the green. This Doc has a certain funky appeal that makes you smile whenever you look at its beautiful plated aluminum finish.
