Purchase: I had the Odessey #5 and found I really didn't like the mallet style. Got fitted for the Ping and have been happily using it for 2 full seasons. Bought it for about $100 at Golf Galaxy.
Pros: This is a simple club with a very clear alignment line. It does not have a lot of 'stuff' added for alignment help. The balance and feel are excellent.
Cons: Nothing to not like
G2i Anser Quality: As with all Ping (and Cleveland and Callaway and Mizuno) products, this is top notch in quality.
Review & Rating Summary: I have been looking at many other putters to see if there is anything better out there. Golf Digest 'Hot' selections include the Ping Redwood and the G5i. Neither, or the other brands for that matter, are better clubs than the G2i. They are available now at good prices and I highly reccomend this club.
Ping G2i Anser Rating: 5
