Purchase: Never wanted to change the putter until the Taylor Made R7 convinced me that technology does help in improving one's game. Hence I started searching for a more "hi-tech" putter. The search for a putter took me about 6 months. I've tried all types of models and brand names in that period. I happen to chance upon this putter at a local department store, and fell in love with it immediately. I paid US$110 for it. The salesperson threw in a glove to sweeten the pot a bit.
Pros: I've always like the G2i urethane-based blue insert because of its softer feel and the soft G2i blue grip which further enhances feel. However, I just couldn't find one that suits my pendulum putting stroke. The face-weighted Anser C with its good level of forgiveness somehow works very well with my stroke. I also like the overall weight of the putter - it gives me just the "right" weight so I don't lose any feel during my takeway and putting stroke. The putter gives me a lot of confidence on the green. It is especially evident when I needed only 25 putts in the last club medal game.
Cons: 1. The blue insert is not well centered on the putter face. The border gap around the insert is wider on one side than the other.
2. It took me a good round of golf to finally get used to the speed of the ball coming off the putter face. Which is not bad really... should've tested it at the putting green, but couldn't wait to try it out in a round.
3. I'd wish for a slightly thicker grip
G2i Anser C Quality: Great value for money. Looks good overall. The insert cavity looks good - I was told it's precision-milled for consistency.
Review & Rating Summary: A very good find (and friend) for anyone who wants putting confidence and consistency at a great value.

Game Description: I've been using the Ping Pal2 putter for c.6 years now. People often commended me for my driving and short game - which I consider as my strength. My GIR and putting; however, are hardly talked about by my friends; therefore, I'd consider them as my weakness.
Average Score For 18: 80's
