Purchase: I acquired this putter at Apex Golf in San Gabriel, CA. The reason I purchased the Lambeau was because I had been using a Kmart brand for six years (my initial putter since beginning golf at that time). I paid $140. I looked around for a better deal everywhere but that seemed to be the going market value at the time.
Pros: I love the looks of the putter. Can't find a more impressive looking putter than this. That was what grabbed me at first but after trying out the feel of the putter at the various golf shops in the neighborhood, I was impressed by the feel. A smooth consistent contact for accurate putts.
Cons: The only thing I'm not quite impressed about the Taylor Made Lambeau is the grip that comes standard. It's a little awkward getting used to.
Lambeau Quality: Construction and quality is excellent. Beautiful colors makes it very aesthetically pleasing to all fellow golfers. Everybody has to check it out at the beginning of every round I play. I am always sharing my putter the first couple of holes. I'm not a construction expert but it seems the head is a little bulky. maybe you need that bulk to get the consistent feel but i feel it could be a little smaller.
Review & Rating Summary: Overall, I love my putter. I've only had two putters in my life and the first one, even though it was from Kmart, I had much success with it. It took a lot to change putters after 6 years but it was worth it. More feel and easy to judge speeds within 15 feet of the hole. very consistent and looks great.
