TaylorMade Review: Rossa Monza Putter

Manufacturer: TaylorMade Golf

Model: Rossa Monza
Category: Putters

Additional Details:

Purchase: Tried it on demo at Golf Galaxy's indoor putting green, Roseville, MN. They were asking $149.00. I didn't purchase it after trying it out.

Pros: I really liked the long white alignment line down the middle of the putter, which is framed nicely by the black putter head. Nice Winn grip. Good amount of weight to the head to keep the stroke steady.

Cons: The balance of this putter did not seem natural to me. The face wants to open by itself. Seemed a little bulky in feel.

Rossa Monza Quality: Maybe their floor models had seen a lot of use, but they didn't look like new even in the store. The paint may be more prone to scuffing/ chipping than others on the market.

Review & Rating Summary:
Unnatural feel in the hands and the face's tendency to want to open steered me away from this putter. Would rather play a 2 Ball.

TaylorMade Rossa Monza Rating: 3

TaylorMade 200 Steel 3 and 5 woods - Irons - The R80 lite graphite shaft works for me better than any I have hit in a long time. My driver club head speed is around 95 mph if that helps. The heads are solid and the ball comes off hot and you

TaylorMade 580XD - Drivers - With the newer r7 and r5, the 580/540 series have dropped way in price. If you wait til 2007 you can pick up this club for less than $100. But, if you want the best driver for the price-$170 would be

TaylorMade V-Steel 15 degree 3 wood - Fairway Woods - I absolutely love this club. I will be playing it a long time, and I would recommend this club to players at all levels.

TaylorMade V Steel 4 Wood - Fairway Woods - I would recommend this club to anyone looking for one club to combine the aspects of a 3 and 5 wood.
