Pros: Good feel for a mallet with a simple look. Easy to align and somewhat confidence-inspiring. High trade-in value.

Cons: I never really got comfortable with this putter, and I eventually traded it in for my first choice during demoing... a Taylor Made Rossa Daytona 1 blade style putter. My touch was not as good with the Red X as it is with the technologically-advanced blade. It's perhaps sad to say that the best aspect of this putter was the Cameron ball mark repair tool that came with it.

Scotty Cameron Red X Quality: Very good, although I was a bit disappointed that the material surrounding the "German Stainless Steel" insert was a bit irregular. This should not be an issue in a $275. putter that emphasizes construction quality.
