Pros: First of all, this putter is beautifully crafted, using a variation of the classic Ping Anser 2 design with which I have always been the most comfortable. It is a delight to the eyes, easy to align and feels perfectly balanced in my hands. The feel is soft, yet firm, if that's not a contradiction and I find I have much better distance control than I have had with the many other putters I've used over the years. The aesthetics of a putter shouldn't make a difference in how well one putts, but this putter is so elegant that it gives me the feeling of having a fine surgical instrument in my hands. A bit far-fetched, perhaps, yet it inspires confidence, and that's worth a couple of strokes a round, or more. This putter, like other Scotty Cameron products, is expensive but considering the fact that I (and most of us) use it more often than any other club, including the driver, I think it is worth the investment.

Cons:

Scotty Cameron Studio Stainless Newport 2 Quality: Beautifully constructed in classic Ping Anser 2 style yet more elegant and easier on the eyes. The 303 stainless steel provides for a wonderful and responsive feel and Scotty Cameron's designs on the club face are "cool."

Review & Rating Summary:
I doubt if there is a better putter being made these days. I have tried many others, and liked many others (Ping, Odyssey, Tear Drop, Wilson 8802, Boss of the Moss, etc., but this Scotty is by far the best, in my opinion. Yes, it's expensive, but worth every penny, especially when you consider that people are spending $300-$600 on drivers these days.
