Occasionally, we're going to profile the most active members of our forum community. While we'll not intrude into their privacy, we'll try to give you a sneak peak into their personalities and their interest in the game of golf in a question and answer format. First up? Winner of the 2009 Masters Pool, DocT.

How and when did you get started playing golf?

I was introduced to golf by my co-workers who played an annual tourney at the end of the year. They were going out to hit some balls at the local range during lunch break, and I tagged along. Was handed a 7-iron and hated it. This made me interested in hitting that white ball even more. Three years later, I'm still trying to hit that little white ball.

Are you a public course or country club player?

I've only played at public/municipal courses. I don't have the financial income to support a country club.

What is your best moment on the golf course?

My best moment was my first birdie after 1 month of whacking balls. It was the ugliest chip shot, a worm-burner from 30 yards that hit the stick and went in the hole.

What's the lowest round you've ever shot?

My lowest round? I'm too embarrassed to say. But since you ask, it is 100. Just don't ask about my worst score.

Have any holes in one? How many?

I've had about 3 hole-in-ones. But that was on my playstation.

Who are your golfing heroes?

For now, I like to keep tabs on Tad Fujikawa. I'm from Hawaii like him, and he's a cool kid. Very down to earth.

If you could choose, who would be in your ultimate golf foursome?

That's really a tough question. Tad Fujikawa, Se-Ri Pak, Anthony Kim, Charles Barkley (have you seen his improvements on the Haney Project?)

What is your favorite golf course?

I don't have a favorite. Every course is challenging enough.

If you had the chance, what course would be on the top of your list to play?

I would like to try Pebble Beach or Trump National in Palos Verdes, CA. I just need to bring an extra couple of dozen balls.

What would you consider your strengths on the course?

Putting is what saves me and keeps my score down. But I've been working on my short game, which I hope would help me break 100.

What would you consider as your toughest challenges?

The driver! It is a wicked stick. I need to cure my fades.

Have you ever taken lessons? If so, did you find that they really helped your game?

I've never taken any formal lessons. I've had people and friends help me out. I also take in the tips from GGR.

How often do you play?

Before my baby was born, I was playing about 1-2 times a month. But now it's a different story. It's been over 4 months since I've played. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things when my daughter is older.

If you're comfortable talking about it, do you have a handicap?

Handicap? I don't think it goes high enough to be considered.

What's your biggest pet peeve on the golf course?

Slow pace of play. A 4 1/2 hour course with a cart should not take 6 hours to complete.
