Green Fees £18 did have carts but used a trolley

History of the golfer who played this course:
been playing over 5 years, HC is 24. Strengths- Distance. Weakness - putting

Specific likes about this course:
I think its one of the best courses in the UK. Its an old 9 hole course been converted into an 18 hole one. The old 9 (1-3, 13-18) tests your accuracy of the tee and the greens are relatively flat. The new 9 are long and wide so you can get away with shots being a bit more wayward. The greens however are evil and need some serious thinking about (especially the par 3 10!!) Best hole will be the 13th (par 4 280 yards) If you decide to drive the green (which is hidden in a dip in front of you) you would have to be very very accurate. If though you decide to lay up the course narrows into 10 yards of fairway at the 100 yards marker! (oh and its trees to the right and trees to the left as well)

Dislikes about this course:
The main thing I hate is how long it takes to get there from birmingham (about 1 hr) as you have to go via bewdley to get there. People have mentioned it is a bit hilly (between 3 & 4) but on the whole most of the holes are flat

Is this course worth the fees?
Brilliant - best course in the country! For the price I would live there.

19th Hole: What extra amenities did this course offer?
there is a bar there and it serves cold beers. What more do you need to know???

Summary and opinions of this golf course:
I would recommend everybody to play it as it mixes golf, water and trains (the severn valley railway runs through the course and yes you do have to go over the rails!) It will test everypart of your game and if you hit below par I would say you are playing damn fine.
