Been playing for about 6 years. Handicap is old age and being out of shape.

Specific likes about this course:
This course was part of what was Fitzsimons Army Medical Center. This course was a favorite of the late President Ike. He played the cousre every chance he had and made many trip to Denver so he had more chances. This is a pretty much open course and fairly easy to play. There is a big tree in the middle of one fairway that Ike hated. More often than not the tree was between his ball and the green for is second shot. They have a plague on the tree with Ike's name on it.

Dislikes about this course:
When the Medical center/army bass was closed a few years ago. they re-did the front nine, making the course a bit shorter.

Is this course worth the fees?
This is one of rhe least expensive courses in the area, so the value is pretty good. It's also close by and never hard to get a tee time.

19th Hole: What extra amenities did this course offer?
There is a restaurant and pro shop on site. The food used to be real bargain when the base was still open, now it's about average.

Summary and opinions of this golf course:
This is a decent course to play and for the money, it's hard to beat. Every year they offer a free round of golf for womem on Mothers' Day. My wife likes that the best.
