graphite shafts playing for about 5 yrs.,8 or 9 months a yr 1-2 times a week, mostly on numerous courses on vancouver island. never play in the rain. 80's payed $300 can. after taxes at riverside. Tried them out on their driving range, very impressed with the feel, accuracy, height, distance and most importantly consistancy. great feel, easy to hit far and straight.very easy to get in the air.lifetime warranty. Love to play with them, great confidence booster! First round dropped 7 strokes, much more consistant with these clubs. nothing so far. well constructed seems to be excellent quality, great feel when hitting the ball.
have played 14 or 15 rounds with them now, great clubs at any price.I tested 10 or 12 sets under $600 over 3 days on their driving range before buying. I was unsure of trying them out, having never heard of them before, but did some research and found great reveiws by many satisfied owners. Had it narrowed down to the tour edge and a set of cleveland ta6, but honestly couldn't tell the difference between the 2- same feel, same distance, same accuracy- but half the price and great warranty. Don't buy just because of a name, buy what feels right to you.

Standard lie/loft, stiff steel shaft irons; grafite hybrids Been playing seriously for 4 years. Drive pretty well, used to have some trouble with approach shots - these irons are brand new so it'll take some time to dial in - chip and put well when I practice alot. 90's I purchased these clubs from Austads' Golf, payed $40 each for the steel shaft irons brand new (7-P) and bought 4 and 6 grafite shaft iron-wood hybrids each for about $25 used. The 6 is +1', so It hits more like a 5 distance and I choke down for a more traditional 6 distance. I don't need the 3 at this point because there's only a few degrees between it and my 5 wood. Though this is very much a mixed-set, the important factors with these clubs make for very similar ball flights. The exagerrated low-back CG is very similar throughout. They got the 'super-game improvement' tag on the hot list, but I really was attrachted to the price (I checked out all the cheapies) as well as the performance. You can't put as decent swing on these and not launch the ball. The soles of the irons are almost gigantic, but they don't feel uncomfortable at all. I don't work the ball very much, but I have no problem hitting a little draw when I want too with the iron or hybrid. I just cannot say how pleased I am to find a very affordable, very nice iron set. I'm still getting used to the factory velvet grip, only because I'm used to a wrap style. Good overall quality. I wouldn't call them indestructable, but if you take care of your equipment they should be fine. If you buy brand new, there's a lifetime warranty. That's a nice feature.
Though I don't use a Tour Edge driver (I prefer Cobra) I now use their iron/hybrid set and it would take something very special to pry me away. I have test-driven a lot of clubs and for me, these are the best feeling AND least expensive, including the RAC OS. Like I said they're new to me this season, so I have some distances to figure out come spring, but my swing is right around 100 mph so as long as I'm focused on solid contact my distances are fine. I cannot wait to use these clubs on the course.
(2 Reviews, Click The Link Above To Read Them All) - I would recommend these clubs to anyone looking for a good, solid feeling set of irons at reasonable price. At the rate I'm going, I'll lower my handicapp down to around 15 or better by the end of summer (5 months)

I've been playing golf about 3 years now. My weakness is driver lenth, goes straight just not far enough. Also need work with those delicate chip shots around the greens(BUT I'M NOT ALONE, Most amature golfers have the same problem). The rest of my game is pretty good. My favorite golf course in my area of northern ca so far is blue rock springs east. 80's Purchased this tour edge ex-3 iron set off ebay from a tour edge seller. paid $400.00 + shipping. 4-pw, steel reg flex nippon shafts. The ex-3 irons have a great feel when you hit them in the center of the face. They are quite light and this is good for distance but bad for feel. The problem with these irons is you need to hit them in the center of the face to get a good hit. In order to do this you need to take a divot in most lies unless you have a fluffy lie. It's hard to make a divot with these irons becuse they are to light and to bulky. This is a problem with many of the hybrid iron sets. Unfortunatly I do not recommend this set of irons for this reason. The construction of this set is pretty good. The sole does get scuffed up quickly.
If you don't hit in the center of the face these irons are not forgiving and you hit it thin and lose distance. I prefer a more solid construction iron that makes a much more effortless divot.

Stiff shaft +1' 4* upright I have played for About three years. By far my weakness is my Driving. My Strength is my Iron play usually straight but not real long until now. My home course is Excelsior Springs, Mo. which is my favorite. 80's I purchased these irons from International Golf Discount in Columbia Mo.
I paid $799.00. for 4 - SW and had them fit me for them. These Irons are very long. The ball explodes off the face and you get nice feed back. I have gained at least a club length. Very nice ball flight. I finally have a SW I can hit. I really like these clubs better than my Callaways. It took about five rounds to figure the distance on these. Great quality and constuction. Lifetime
warranity.
I would buy these again! I know the owner of the golf shop and he told me 'Look I can hit any club I want and these are what I hit' give them a try you won't regret it.

I've been playing for almost 8 years. My home course is Putnam National in Mahopac, NY. With my driver I tend to hit a fade, but with my irons my shot is straight. Short irons and putting are my strengths. Once I am on the greeen, I will always two putt. I rarely, if ever, three putt. My favorite course is Apple Greens in Highland, NY. The fairways are always in excellent condition and the greens are the best I have seen. They always roll true and they are in great shape. Par or Better I bought these clubs off EBay from a seller I have been dealing with for years. I generally change irons every year. In the past year I had the Callaway Big Bertha 2006 model irons and the Mizuno MX900 irons before I bought these Tour Edge Exotics. I paid $479 for the set and they retail for $799. These irons are the most forgiving and explosive irons I ever hit. They feel solid at impact and the distance is awesome. I can hit their attack wedge (52 degrees) about 100 yards. I could only hit a pitching wedge (with a solid, strong stroke) that distance will all my other irons. With the Callaways, I had to hit a 9 iron to go 100 yards. There is nothing 'not to like' about these clubs. They are beautiful clubs. They inspire confidence at address and they look stunning. Construction and workmanship is A+. Everything is impressive looking. I dare anyone to find a better looking club on the market currently.
Beautiful irons with explosive distance and forgiveness. They may not have the big name, but they deliver on performance in a big way.

Purchased at golf Etc in Broken Arrow, OK. Paid $199.99. Very easy to hit, and looks provide confidence when you step up to hit the ball. Not much that I dont like.Especially for 199 for 3-PW. Very sturdy construction. Seem to hold up and retain their integrity.
Excellent Irons. Proves that you don't have to pay 600 for a quality set of Irons that really work well!

I have been playing for over 40 years and currently have a 12 handicap, which has not varied much in the last 20 years. I play about three times a week 80's I first saw the six iron advertised in one of the golf magazines and figured for 50 bucks I could not go too far wrong. I took it out to the range and then immediately ordered the five through sand wedge from Edwin Watts for about 79 a club. Best money ever spent...and I have spent tens of thousands over the years. It looks a little different. You are after all hitting a "utility wood" on every shot. The amazing thing is the greatest shots are with the wedge and sand wedge. They've got a rounded sole, so it's almost impossible to hit it fat or drop kick it. Just hit down on the ball....it will fly higher than any iron you ever hit. There is nothing I don't like about the clubs. I even e mailed Tour Edge and told them what a great product they have. There are a few chips in the paint, but they hit and feel just as good as the day I got them.
Ok, get over the fact that these do not look at all conventional. I have played high dollar berthas, cobras and so forth...and for a mid handicapper, these are by far and away the best.

Item was purchased from Harpeth Valley Golf Center, Bellvue Tn. I heard it was easy to hit with a higher trajectory. Paid $79.99 plus tax. This club is a joy to hit. Sweeping the ball off fairway grass delivers high and long distance. Distance is on par with my TM OS #3, but the trajectory is quite a bit higher. The wide sole glides the club through the turf. It can still be punched for a low driving shot with confidence. The sound of contact is a nice "click". and the feel is solid. Working the ball is no problem, as there is minimal offset. Best of all, a life time guarentee. I cannot find anything negative about this club. Well thought out and constructed club. A highly polished stainless steel sole, sand-blasted face, glossy dark blue paint. Very attractive. Shaft, ferrule, hosel fit is excellent.
I have the 1-5 irons and they all deliver wonderful performance. Distance is as long and higher trajectory than their traditional contemporaries. Anyone needing help with long irons should demo these hybrids. You may be surprised.

Purchased these at Golf USA. I tested a ton of clubs, TaylorMade, Callaway, Adams, Titleist, Cleveland, etc and these clubs felt the best and the price was certainly right. Paid $289 for 3-PW. These sticks are terrific. They are very straight and very long. The head is substantial so you feel like you're swinging something and they promote confidence at set up. They are forgiving and mishits produce positive results. I was put off by the thick top line at first but have gotten used to the look and it now gives me the feeling of a solid substantial club. Othewise there is noting not to like. The quality is excellent. I don't feel like I'm hitting a "price point" club. These feel better than any club I've ever hit.
If you're looking for irons, don't spend any money til you test drive these clubs. Get rid of your thoughts of HAVING to have "name brand" clubs. These are as good as any and a whole lot less money.

STEEL SHAFT 10 HANDICAP GOLFER WHO HAS BEEN PLAYING FOR 15 YEARS BUT 2 TIMES A WEEK FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS.I HAVE A GOOD GAME, DECENT POWER AND A HOT AND COLD SHORT GAME.I GOLF MOST OF THE NEW JERSEY TRI STATE AREA.I LOVE LONG COURSES WITH FAST GREENS. 80's PURSHASED AT THE WILLOWBROOK GOLF CENTER FOR 240$ FOR 5-PW ,I HAVE PLAYED MIZUNO AND CALLAWAY IRONS IN THE PAST AND DECIDED MAYBE TO LOOK AT NEW IRONS.I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE TOUR EDGE IRON WOOD 3and4 FOR A YEAR SO I NEW THEY MADE A GOOD CLUB.HIT A FEW IRONS BUT NOTHING IMPRESSED ME UNTIL I HIT THESE CLUBS.LOVED THEM FROM THE FIRST BALL I HIT.HIT THEM LONGER AND HIGHER THAN THE NIKE SLINGSHOTS WHICH PEOPLE KEPT TELLING ME HOW GOOD THEY ARE. LENGTH AND THE ABILTY TO HIT HIGH SHOTS.I HIT MY IRONS HIGH AS IT IS AND THESE CLUBS PUT THE CHERRY ON TOP. THEY DONT LOOK LIKE THE IRONS MY FATHER PLAYED.SURE DONT LOOK LIKE BLADES BUT IT IS 2006 AND ALL CLUBS ARE STARTING TO LOOK A LITTLE WEIRD. VERY WELL MADE CLUB.FEELS STRONG AND GIVES A NICE SOUND WHEN YOU FLUSH ONE.
HIGHLY SUGGEST ANY MID HANDICAPPER LOOK AT THESE CLUB.CANT WORK THEM LIKE BLADES BUT HOW MANY MID HANDICAPPERS REALLY WORK THE BALL.

Steel shaft, stiff flex, 5 through PW This is my 6th year of playing serious competitive golf. I play 2 leagues (April -Sept)and numerous scramble outings throught the season. I revamped my entire set this year, from driver to putter. Bought 2 hybrids, irons, driver, 5 wood, putter, and use Callaway HX Hot balls. My strengths are my drives (265-280) and my middle irons. Weakness is definetly putting. My USGA handicap index is 10.6 80's I purchased these irons from The Golf Shack online site (Golfshack.com). I paid $225.99 for the 5 through PW set plus shipping. I played Callaway Big Bertha's (2002) for the passed 3 years and have always liked the clubs. A friend of mine has a few JMAX hybrids and I used to hit them and really liked the way they came off the face. I researched alot of irons before I made my purchase. Golf Digest's 2006 Hot List had the most comprehensive reviews. I liked the look right away (thin top line at address, polished) and these irons had alot of great features. A 1 piece 431 steel head, precision shaft, modest offsets, and good lofts. These irons are very forgiving, very easy to hit, controllable, and a good feature is for CGB irons, they don't tend to baloon like others. I also get about 5-7 more yards per iron out of these than my Big Bertha's.
In all honesty, I have not found anything I dislike yet. Tour Edge really takes pride in their equipment. Each iron came shipped in plastic, divided by foam, and the heads were also wrapped. Please see above comments.
I would highly reccommend these clubs to anyone looking for forgiveness and a higher ball flight. Even though these irons are a CGB iron, they are very easy to control. The 1 piece face has incredible feel. Much more than a welded face. No vibration on off the toe hits, and good distance on heel of toe hits also.
