Saddle Creek Offers Wine/Dine/Golf Packages

Saddle Creek Resort (www.saddlecreek.com) is rolling out its summer vacation packages. Included are golf, tennis, wine tasting, local theater and culinary events … the resort’s most robust and diverse packages to date.

Guests stay in the fully-appointed Saddle Creek Bungalows, conveniently located along the first and second holes of the Carter Morrish-designed course. Bungalows feature full kitchens, flat screen televisions, relaxing back patios and complimentary wireless Internet. Easily accessible from the bungalows are Saddle Creek Resort’s miles of hiking and biking trails, the Sports Club with tennis courts, swimming pool and fitness facility, and the award-winning Copper Grille, showcasing more than 500 wines from around the world.

Single room, one-bedroom suite and two-bedroom suites (full bungalows) are available. Rates are based on single, double, triple and quad occupancy and require a minimum two-night, Friday and Saturday stay.

The Stay-Cation Package, July 26 – 28 and August 22-24: Includes two-nights lodging, dinner one night, a Friday sunset wine and cheese boat cruise on Lake Tulloch, preferred Saturday afternoon tee times at the twilight rate, and unlimited use of the Sports Club. Price: $92.50 to $355.

Ironstone Concert Series Package, July 27, August 2, 9, 17, September 5 and October 4 (Option 1): Includes two nights lodging, breakfast each morning, platinum seating tickets (with dinner) to concert of choice (limited to ticket availability), shuttle to and from concert with wine and cheese, preferred tee times at the twilight rate and unlimited use of the Sports Club. (Option 2): dinner one night and platinum lawn tickets (chairs provided). Price: $159 to $729.

Calaveras County Wine Tour Package: Two nights lodging, breakfast each morning, Friday night dinner with an introduction to Calaveras Wines by GM Bill Troyanoski, in-room wine and cheese upon arrival, tour and tasting at six local award-winning wineries (Saturday), and unlimited use of the Sports Club. Price: $257 to $467.

Outdoor Theatre Package: Two nights lodging, breakfast each morning, tickets to Murphy’s Creek Outdoor Theater at Stevenot Winery, wine and cheese with picnic basket dinner and two lawn chairs, shuttle transportation, preferred tee times for Saturday afternoon at twilight rate, and unlimited use of the Sports Club. Price: $262 to $487.
